Ukraine FEST is an all-day charity music festival taking place in Portsmouth in May 2022. The festival has been organised by local DJ Boogalou to raise valuable funds for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Entertainment starts at midday, the event is scheduled to end at midnight. Boogalou has arranged a fantastic line-up of local bands to entertain you, plus there will be DJ sets from Hi
pshaker, Double-O-Soul and Funk Klub, a Vintage & Boutique market and the Trailer 54 Disco
Where and when is Ukraine FEST taking place? Ukraine Fest takes place at Portsmouth's Staggeringly Good Brewery, on Rodney Road, on Saturday 21st May. Are there cashpoints near to the venue? There are ATMs available at the Tesco Extra on Fratton Way, the Tesco Express on Goldsmith Avenue and the Esso petrol station on Milton Road. How much are festival tickets and where can I get them from? Online tickets are now SOLD OUT but a very limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on the day, priced at £7. More tickets will become available from 8pm once all under-18s have left the site. Can I leave and re-enter the festival site? Once you have been issued with your festival wristband you will be able to come and go from Ukraine FEST as you please. Is Ukraine FEST wheelchair accessible? Whilst the outside space of the venue is wheelchair accessible, unfortunately there is no access to the first-floor venue space inside. Is Ukraine FEST kid friendly? Kids under 16 can attend free (though we would welcome a donation if possible) and can access the venue until 8pm. There will be a variety of children's entertainment available, including face painting and Matt the Magician, plus Peppa Pig, Sonic and JJ will be around too. Dogs are also welcome outside the venue. Will there be food and drink available? Staggeringly Good offer a fantastic selection of craft beers, brewed on the premises, with Gins and wines also available (please note the bar is CARD ONLY!) and will be serving their famous gourmet pizzas. Hot food can also be purchased from vendors on-site. I can't attend but I'd still like to help the appeal, what should I do?
