There’s just 4 months to go until October! Which means we’re another month closer to welcoming Brighton pop rock duo ARXX back to Portsmouth 💖

From the hard-hitting ‘Ride or Die’, to synth-heavy ‘Good Boy’, and q***r anthems like ‘Swim’, ARXX’s sets always have everyone singing along and having the absolute best time 🪩🕺🏻

Plus, with album 3 on the way, we might be lucky enough to hear some new tracks too 👀

ARXX join Lime Garden, Prima Queen, SOFY, and more at Night Currents Festival ‘26!

We had a wonderful evening celebrating the local scene and seeing some familiar faces at the Portsmouth Music Awards 2026! Thank you to Matt and the team for making something so special to Portsmouth 🌟

Huge congratulations to The Wedgewood Rooms for winning Venue of the Year for the second year running! They truly are the best and we wouldn’t have Night Currents Festival without the Wedge. Grassroots forever 🏆

And massive congrats to our sponsor Southsea Sound for winning Recording Studio of the Year! Big love to you as always, you’re so important to this community 🫶

We had the absolute pleasure of catching My First Time’s raucous set in Brighton last night! It was a wickedly fun show - and now we’re even more excited to see them again when they play Night Currents Festival this October 🤠

My First Time will be making their Portsmouth debut playing alongside Lime Garden, Prima Queen, SOFY, ARXX and more ✨

Ain’t are a no-gimmicks rock band whose crooked guitars, cathartic choruses, and swan-like stage moves may just end up defining this godforsaken epoch.

When planning the Night Currents lineup, there are some bands that just make sense. Rapidly rising Brighton quintet SLAG BAND fit right in 🪩

Known for their high energy live performances, SLAG merge flamboyant art-rock, grungy post-punk, and alternative pop for a uniquely chaotic blend. Having supported bands like Opus Kink, HotWax, and Welly on tour, SLAG have aligned themselves at the centre of the alt scene!

We saw them live last year and our minds were blown. We knew we had to see them at Night Currents 2026 💘

FFO: Shame, Pom Poko, Man/Woman/Chainsaw
