Finally made it to meet the terrific makers at East Quay, Watchet and introduced Miss M to some ancient crafts....it's all about the Vikings right now so paper making and cloak weaving was a huge success. Finally watching Two Rivers Paper was very emotional as I watched them SO much in lockdown.

Left our 🌈 mark on the communal weaving being created with resident artist Bec Briar, that will soon be on display. What an inspiring lady foraging and growing her own dyes and shepherding her own wool 😍.

Miss M bumped into Jimmy Hendrix's harmonica player who has been invited to play in her band Chicken Burger...watch this space 🥁

I've not crafted for months, sadly 😞

A colleague asked for more Miss M makes and we found Sue's hand made paper gifted to us by her daughter in the craft crate cracked open yesterday. Using autumnal seaweed, we have made a few more cards for Brain Tumour charity in Sue's memory.

Once they have been pressed we will show them off!

And that's a wrap, last LCF gift gifted for the season.

This year has been a funny year with work life balance and lack of time to make but 2026 already feels far more creative with a few ideas that keep creeping back into my mind. I am excited to see where they go!

I seriously hope everyone has found a bit of calm and peace and saving those bits of paper and cards to craft into something beautiful for next year!
