So we’re almost at full capacity, and we’re not going til October. Going to be one of the best trips yet.

20 days to go……

Payments needed: final payments needed to be paid by Monday 2nd October.
Any money outstanding at this point will mean that you will need to take your chances on getting tickets on the day - it’s going to be a busy one so let’s not take any chances.

We do have spaces for anyone that still wishes to join the trip.

Truly international feel this time, we have representation from Wales, Scotland, Australia and a couple of English 😂

Well ladies and gents, we are just over a month away and it’s time to start getting official numbers sorted and arrangements finalised.
Anyone yet to confirm, please let me know asap.
Full balances needed by the end of the month to get the racecourse tickets sorted.
I’ll have a list of names up in the sker this weekend, we do have a small number of spaces available.

Officially open! CHEPSTOW 12 October 2024
let’s officially open this shin dig up then.

We have a cap of 45 and have had about 34 with concrete interest so anticipating a good trip again.
Just a reminder, for £55:
- ticket into the premier enclosure of the course, allowing access across all the paddocks, beer tent where they have an oompah band, and even stay for the oasis experience if you want (you’ll just have to get a taxi to meet us back at the pub)
- executive travel and I am promised a toilet on board
- start in The Sker and leave about 10.30am
- Stop at a pub just outside Chepstow. Perfect time to study the form, game of pool, darts, whatever
- we’ll be back to the pub after the last race, to continue with the fun.
- back to the sker then for about 9pm to finish off.

We even have an international feel this time with guests from Australia and Scotland coming - and boy they can drink.

If your interested, let me know asap. I can accept cash or bank transfer and looking for just £25 deposit with the balance to be paid by 1 October 2024.

Funnily enough, The Sker racedays are on again. I’ll officially start taking names/deposits from Thursday next week. £25 deposit please and final price £55 which will include a ticket to the premier enclosure. If you want to upgrade or even get a downgrade ticket, let me know and we’ll sort it 😀

We’re only 3 months off now. Chepstow and the start of the jump racing season. One deposit already paid, we’ll be looking for deposits of £25 by the 7th August please. Sounds like it’s going to a busy one and we will cap at 45. First come, first served and all welcome!

International football weekend so no Swansea or Cardiff games on (Wales playing Iceland on Friday night), and no Wales rugby internationals…..so why not hop on up to Chepstow for a Day at the races.

I’ll be starting to take deposits of £25 at the end of the month. The price includes entrance to the Premier enclosure but if you wish to upgrade, or even downgrade to just the grandstand (limited access but is cheaper), I can price that up for you as well.

12 October 2024 - it’s on! The start of the jump season.
- Executive coach which I have been assured WILL have a toilet
- The Sker have kindly offered to do us Bacon Rolls for us in the morning
- entrance to the racecourse

Unfortunately chepstow aren’t providing any discount for group booking (not even for us who have been going for 17 years) so premier ticket will be the full entrance price.

Total price £55

If we get 40+, we’ll have also get a welcome beer at the sker (subsidised anyway).

A little more than last time but Chepstow aren’t affording us any discount due to the numbers being capped for the raceday and high demand for the first weekend of jumps.
