🌊 What an incredible 5 Islands' Race weekend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water, brilliant racing, great sportsmanship, and plenty of smiles all round.
Thank you to every single crew who took part, travelled from near and far, and brought such amazing energy to the event. 💙

A huge shout-out to our brilliant Club Chairman, Austin, whose hard work and organisation made this event possible, and to every single PGRC member plus friends and supporters who gave their time and energy to make the day run so smoothly. 🙌

👏 Special congratulations to Weymouth Gig Rowing Club for rowing hard and taking the win, what a race!

We did have a small hiccup with some merch pre-orders (thanks to a sneaky tech glitch!) a few items weren’t available on the day. We’re on it and will get them shipped out ASAP – thanks for bearing with us. 🙏

From the first stroke to the last cheer, the atmosphere was electric and we have to say, you all looked absolutely fantastic out there. 💪🔥

For those arriving Friday night PGRC will be having a pint or two in the King Charles from 1900 onwards. This is a cracking wee boozer, allegedly haunted and with a live band on. Best of all if you are wearing anything gig related Brendan and his team will be delighted to give you 10% off of your drinks. All evening!!
It is situated just off of Poole Quay in the historic old town Thames St, Poole BH15 1JN, United Kingdom.
Be great to meet up with previous attendees and to meet newcomers too.

FInal bit of admin for thise travelling to Poole could we ask that the form at the limk is filled in so we can coordinate access with the gate guys. If we have a number for your tower that is super useful in the event of unexpected delays.
