Big shout out to all the members of Pontypridd & Rhondda Round Table. No sitting around soaking up their nominations in the sun though, planning for this years Big Bang in Ynysangharad Park is already under way

Here is a sneak peak at our next few events.

The fireworks never feel real until the end of October but did you know planning and organising starts in April. With several new members this is a chance to take a walk around the park and run through what needs to be done on the days leading up to the event and we never need an excuse to grab a bite to eat afterwards.
May the 4th sees us hosting our AGM and this year we are hosting it in Ynysangharad Park with a family fun day for the members, prospective members and anyone with a connection to the table. Drop us a message if you're interested in joining us on the day.
Our May social sees us Quad Biking with members from other local tables.

Well its the night after a fabulous evening in the park and after 3 days of barely seeing our families its been nice to sit down, have a cup of tea and relax but I do want to take a moment to thank some of the people, without whom last night couldn't have happened.
Firstly the volunteer members of Pontypridd & Rhondda Round Table, members of various 41 clubs, ladies circles and family & friends for giving up their time and energy to help.
A big shout out to Ynysangharad park staff, members of Andy's man club, Marauders men's health charity and Celts ESU.
The members of the fair, Steve the toy guy, the catering team, GTFM and of course Pains Firework for the fabulous display and entertainment on the night.
Rocket Security, St Johns Ambulance service, tiptop toilets and Speedy hire for their service on the night and equipment.
Our amazing volunteer stewards, without whom these events cant go ahead with a special mention to Pontypridd AFC for providing so many of those stewards and of course a very special thank you to you, for joining us on an amazing night, for the thousands of happy, smiling, excited faces who braved the South Wales weather in November to stand together in a field, watch the display and raise money for local charities and good causes.
If I have missed anyone, I apologise but there will be more posts over the next few days

After a long day yesterday putting the fencing up around the park we are onto Saturday setup with the crowd barriers and signs. The weather is as expected for this morning but it is forecast to be dry in time for the display.
The event will be going ahead unless posted here or on the Pontypridd & Rhondda Round Table pages.
