The Plymouth Boat Fest site map has arrived.

It contains exhibitors, boats, food and a surprising amount of organisation.

If you're the sort of person who likes to plan their day in military detail, this is for you.

If you're the sort of person who wanders around casually, you'll probably end up looking at it anyway.😀

We're delighted to welcome back The Island Trust to Plymouth Boat Fest.

For more than 50 years, The Island Trust has been helping young people through sail training voyages. Their work focuses on creating opportunities for young people who might not otherwise have access to them, using the challenge and adventure of sailing as a powerful learning experience.

Joining us on the waterfront will be their beautiful historic vessel, *Johanna Lucretia*, offering visitors the chance to see a traditional sailing ship up close.

The team will also be hosting talks throughout the day about life beneath the waves, including the chance to see footage from their fascinating "Crab Cam" and learn more about the marine environment beneath Plymouth Sound.

Whether you're interested in sailing, marine wildlife or Plymouth's rich maritime heritage, this is one you won't want to miss.

is a Plymouth-based upcycling business turning retired sails into practical, handmade products is a Plymouth-based upcycling business turning retired sails into practical, handmade products.

Created by Jo, who moved from a career in outdoor education into full-time making, the business focuses on giving redundant sail materials a second life. What began with a single discarded sail has developed into a range of products including bags and accessories, all made from reclaimed marine materials.

Modern sails are strong, durable and often non-biodegradable, so 2nd WIND offers a way to reuse them rather than send them to landfill.

At Plymouth Boat Fest on 20th June, 2nd WIND will be showcasing their work and demonstrating how materials from the marine industry can be transformed into new, functional products
