University of Plymouth Concert Band Plymouth Univeristy Concert Band was a brand new musical group for 2011/2012!

The Greatest Showman, Let's Get Loud, Themes from Bug's Life, I am the Doctor and many many more....

The University of Plymouth Concert Band gives the opportunity for students and people in the local area to play concert music amongst other musicians. With music ranging from the Pirates of the Caribbean, to Hootenany, to English Sea songs, Music from Wicked they're is something for everyone. So

if you play the Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Sax (all types), Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Horn, Percussion etc etc etc come along and brush off those musical skills! PUCB rehearse every week on Tuesdays during term time 18:15 - 20:30 in the Rolle Building 018. or

South West Universities Concert Band Festival ☑️

An incredibly successful day today with some amazing feedback from the judges!

‘Well done to Caitlin’

‘Very active and dancing percussion players…did percussionist stand still at all in the programme?!’

‘Great clarinet cadenza…well controlled clarinet solo’

‘Jaws very effective’

‘Very well done to Bella doubling piccolo from sax’

‘Fine trumpet solo playing (Bugs Life)’

‘Nice playing by saxes in Beauty and the Best’

And there’s more….we got amazing feedback on Hollywood Milestones (our hardest piece!!) so a huge ‘well done’ to everyone!

Everyone was a great representation of and Concert Band! You all should be very proud of yourselves!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT!

We’re excited to announce that we will be performing in our first concert of the year on Tuesday 13th December!

We’ve been working extremely hard all semester so we’re excited to perform to an audience for the first time this year!

Free tickets will be available from the SU website from Monday!

Can’t wait to see you all there! 🎶
