So here it is... the moment you have all been waiting for! Well, almost. We wanted to share with you today our proposed route map for the Weston Super Half 2018. We can only share the 'proposed' version as we are still working with the local council and highways agencies on its approval. As we have received positive feedback about the route so far, we feel that now is the right time to share it with you as we get very close to its confirmation.

The route map is also available to view on our website www.westonsuperhalf.co.uk, where you can also sign up to take part in the event.

Following our statement yesterday we would like to apologise for any misunderstanding and would like to clarify the current situation regarding Plymouth's Half Marathon.

Run Joy recently purchased the rights to 'Plymouth's Half Marathon' from the previous organisers GO2 Events in good faith. We have no connection to them or their previous events.

Plymouth City Council invited us to tender for the event a short time ago. The vision of co-owner James Cracknell and the Run Joy team was to develop the event further and incorporate the race within a South West Half Marathon Series, which is currently being developed. However, the Council has recently informed us that an alternative company will be delivering a Half Marathon in Plymouth in April 2017 called The Ocean City Half Marathon.

We, as Run Joy, whilst very disappointed that we will not be delivering the original Plymouth's Half Marathon will continue to develop mass participation running events in the South West and very much hope that you might take part in one of our events in the future.
