Huge thanks to local artist, Printing Fun with Debby Mason for her sealife inspired print workshop today at Sherford.

A group of amateur artists all got stuck in, learning different printmaking techniques and leaving with handfuls of creations!

We’re celebrating eight amazing years of community and growth, with a day packed full of activities and fun today. This event is open to all - come and join in.

📍 Sherford Country Park

🕙 Starts at 10 AM – Kick things off with a special coppicing demo!

🍽 12-2 PM – Bring & share community lunch in the marquee!

🎨 JUST ADDED: 12:30PM - face painting on the green

🌻 2PM – Kids’ sunflower growing competition & wildflower seed planting for all!

🐝 NEW ACTIVITY PLANNED: 3PM - Sow a bee bank and help the bees!! At the banks facing the community orchard by Robin Close.

Get ready for a season of creativity and fun! 🎨✨ We’ve got a fantastic lineup of workshops for both kids and adults, featuring local artists and makers. Whether you're looking for a spring-themed craft session for children or a hands-on creative workshop, there's something for everyone!

📌 Creative Club – Saturday 15th March
Let the little ones get crafty at our free drop-in Creative Club! 🖍️🌿 Enjoy spring-themed children’s crafts with all materials provided. Pre-booking is required to make sure we have enough supplies. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Struggling for Christmas gifts? Or do you want to give your loved one something extra special this year? Create lasting memories by gifting a voucher for our upcoming glass making workshop with Papercutzglass!

Under the guidance of glass artist, Sheena, you and your loved one will be given all the materials and tools needed to create your own unique designs on three glass sun-catchers. Your designs will be taken away, fired and returned a week later ready to take pride of place in your home.

The workshop will be taking place 15th February 2025, from 10am - 12:30pm. To book, or to purchase vouchers, email [email protected].

We had a wonderful time learning the art of candle making at our latest Sherford Session, with the Candles of Sherford team! The sold out workshop was a fantastic way to start the Christmas season, with the event space packed with festive fragrances and colourful candle creations.

There was shimmer and sine galore at our recent Sherford Session with Debby Mason! Bringing plenty of creativity, everyone had a fantastic time creating their own printed bags, tags and Christmas wrap.

As the perfect activity to get in the festive spirit, and helping to give everyone a Christmas kick-start, a big thank you goes to Debby for hosting the session!
