What a beautiful day today!
When the hosts are amazing and bring you all the tea you could need, the company is so lovely and they share their INCREDIBLE food, the couples are happy AND you get unlimited cuddles from Willow it doesnt really get much better!
A really special wedding open day today ❤️ with stunning choice and designs.
Melt in the mouth, yummy cake to die for from
Grazing platters, charcuterie and the most delicious fancy lunch I have ever had from .ntry
And witnessing incredible talent from .and.pose ❤️
Looking forward to talking more with new couples and lovely to hear everyone's plans today ❤️

Getting to know other wedding suppliers is part of my job and recommending is easy if you see great service, ideas and professionalism with your own eyes.
However I feel the highest recommendation is when I personally trust someone enough to use them.. hence when my lovely husband and I got married in 2017 the only person we wanted to create this STUNNING arch for us was 🌸
Working with Hannah in my previous role as an F.D I knew her standards were always sky high 🌸
Picture three is when I was getting ready and she showed me a photo of the venue...shortly after I was blubbing 😆
We had LOTS of flowers that day... two locations, 12 tables, nine bridesmaids, buttonholes, mothers, gifts... and I was obsessed with what was created!
So if you are choosing suppliers talk to those in the know...we see it all and know who to entrust with your special occasion.
This Saturday I will be with Hannah and her team for a very special open day at her premises in Estover.

2026 has started with a buzz of excitement as the festivities are over and everyone is getting organised for 2026 ❤️
This is the face of a happy who has booked two ceremonies already this year and even better...one at my favourite place- THE LIDO!!! Happy, happy and with two lovely new couples.

Ok, ok so I may not still use the typewriter but I am old school when it comes to my writing...
100% NO A.I!
I love technology. I love how easy it makes life...but it just cannot compare to human connection when it comes to a bespoke, celebrant led ceremony ❤️
The creative industries struggle enough with funding, recognition or appreciation of their value so the invention of A.I has threatened that creativity even further.
If you are choosing a Celebrant please, please ask the right questions... and top of that list?
Do you write your own scripts?
The beauty of a is that you connect with the person stood in front of you, on the biggest day of your life (as well as your partner! 😆).
Personal, full of you, full of depth and meaning... some things you just cannot create with technology and the human touch is key ❤️

The Palace Theatre, Paignton...
I had the pleasure to visit this beautiful venue this week and then discovered they do weddings!
If you are theatre lovers or just love the drama this quirky venue would be perfect!!

Well it has been a quiet 2025 for me so far regarding celebrant life.
Thankfully celebrancy is not my only source of income but I know some of my celebrant colleagues are feeling the same... life is quiet!
Whether its a change in trend, location or the cost of living crisis things have changed 😵‍💫
However if YOU are looking for an eager, excited celebrant I may just be your person!
