Today and the rest of the weekend at Chippenham folk festival mainly at the Old Road Tavern but sessions all around the town particularly in the beer tent on Monkton park where various session leaders will control the "style" of the music.

In the past I have organised a session, as part of the Wi******er Folk Festival which would normally been today, in the Eclipse from midday onwards. Last year Pete took up the reins but I do not know if he has organised it for the "special" Wi******er Hyde session players. Might be worth popping along if you are in the area.

Today and every Saturday at the Dolphin, 34 High St, Littlehampton BN17 5ED 2:30pm = 5pm.

Today and for the rest of the weekend at Upton-on-Severn folk festival. The venue is movable as the normal pub is closed. Yesterday the Irish session was in the Wheelhouse bar which is in the marina and we are hoping for an afternoon in the same bar.

Tomorrow in the Friary Arms, Shripney Rd, Bognor Regis PO22 9LN from 5pm onwards.

Unfortunately the Elsted Inn have just informed us that they have a private function tomorrow night so we can’t meet there. Too late notice to find another venue so we’ll hopefully see some of you in a fortnight 🎻🎶
