Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate 150 years of the building in Scone. It has been a fantastic day and the organising group are so happy that you came and had a good day. We know it got a bit busy at times and we thank you for your patience. I am sure there will be plenty of photos to come of a day for us to remember. I know of people who met up with people they hadn't seen for a long time. To everyone who helped in any way, thank you, we couldn't have done it without you. Karen

Here comes the sun, just in time! See you at 1pm. If you want a photo opportunity with the trophy St. Johnstone Football Club will be here from 1pm until 2pm.

It will soon be time. A great afternoon is planned. Come along and join in the celebrations. We have Perth and District Pipe Band Official Perthshire Brass Crieff Artist - Pedro Brock a visit from St. Johnstone Football Club with the Championship trophy. A1 Bouncy Fun, Diane Lambert School of Highland Dancing, vintage fire truck, bus and a tender from Tayside Fire and Rescue, afternoon tea and much more. We are pleased to have Provost McDade opening the event at 1pm.

Today is also National Pub Day, and we’re proud to be one of the winners of the Save Our Pub campaign with The Daily Telegraph. A huge thank you to Bryan Johnson for nominating us and helping us win £5,000 worth of stock.

If you can, please bring along some spare pennies to support CPK Scone Library’s fundraiser, helping provide children’s books to those who need them most. We’re also collecting book donations, so if you have any children’s books to spare, please drop them off. 📚

A special shoutout to my boy, Fraser and his teammates at Scone Thistle 2017 for their sponsored walk today, who are raising funds for their football team. ⚽
