Introducing our wonderful judge for our final competition of the year…..
🌟Sharon Gill🌟
Sharon Gill started her training at the Edith Duncan school at the age of 2.5 winning 6 Scottish titles, countless medals and trophies, BATD scholarship.wins and dancing with the Scottish ballet and there was never anything else on the radar as a career.
Furthering her training, at the ISTD's London college of dance, she graduated with a diploma as well as distinction in teaching and her ISTD associates in tap, ballet and modern as well as advanced dancers exams in national and greek.
Upin returning to her home city of Aberdeen in 1990, Sharon immediately opened her school and soon expanded into cheerleading through the British Cheerleading Association and is now a fully qualified Intermational Cheer Union coach and judge in cheer, lyrical, jazz, pom, hip hop and high kick.
Further to that, Sharon has also branched into Acrobatic Dance and holds the IDTA Acrobatic Dance Diploma as well as Acrobatic Arts qualifications on top of her IDTA tap, ballet and modern Associates.
Having gained her ISTD licentiate in tap last year, Sharon is currently studying for her Fellowship.
Sharon strongly believes you should never stop learning and always try to better yourself.
In 2022, Sharon found her forever studio home and opened the Sharon Gill Dance Academy which is home to over 300 students from 18 months to 76 covering all genres and fitness classes.
Sharon is proud to have her passion as her career and encourages everyone to chase their dreams.
Sharon tells everyone that today, all you need to do is do your routine "1 more time" from the training room to the stage but this time with an audience. Show us your enjoyment of dance.
