We cannot wait to have Stephen adjudicate tomorrow! He is an incredibly fair judge that always sees the best in every performer. He is extremely encouraging and has been with us now for 4 years so he certainly knows how it’s done at FCDC💙

Hey folks, can everyone please check the schedule to make sure you dancers are present and accounted for. Last chance today to send any issues or concerns. Sean will send a final copy over this later this evening. 💃🏆 please be aware it’s is incredibly difficult to do these running orders due to the sheer nature of crossovers in dances and kids in numerous routines. Sean is doing his best to allow everyone the time they need to change and breath in between but we need any final issues in now. We are finding people are messaging with issue way after the deadlines. We both work full time and only work on this late evening. I do appreciate everyone is busy but we can’t delay getting final draft out to people. Especially given we have lots of people travelling and staying over.

Final note: FROM OUR VENUE.

Hi Chanelle, after the mess with take away foods and drinks bottles etc the council have put a strict ban on ANY take away foods entering the building. You were previously billed for such mess at your last competition to cover extra cleaning costs. If this happens again we will have no choice but to terminate our agreement in future competitions going ahead at our venue. I hope you understand this and can make your dance groups aware of the severity of this issue.

Please make your dancers / families aware that no take away foods are allowed in the building under any circumstances. If families from your school are caught doing so your full school will all be asked to leave immediately and any cleaning bill will be passed directly on.
You can go out and eat but not in the building. We do have our tuck shop open all day and food is only permitted in the foyer area where all the lunch tables are. Water only in the changing rooms and theatre. Anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave. It really is simple rules to follow, it’s been the same rules every comp. Remember these are council rules as Fcdc have to follow these.

Running orders have been sent out to all schools/independent entry’s🥳 sorry for slight delay we have had a poorly 5 year old this weekend and a hospital trip. Can teachers/parents please check thoroughly and send in any issues by Friday at the very latest. Any changes after this will not be accepted. Final drafts will be sent out Sunday evening. Less than 2 weeks to go folks💃🕺🪩 looking forward to our first comp of the season welcoming all new schools and our loyal returning schools!

Good morning all, Sean our admin has been busy working on each schools/independants invoices over the weekend. They are all now ready and he will send out this afternoon. We are completely FULL for our March competition💃🥳 please don’t ask to add any entries as we simply cannot fit them in. We are looking forward to welcoming our regulars but also lots of new schools this time🥰

Introducing our wonderful judge for our final competition of the year…..


🌟Sharon Gill🌟

Sharon Gill started her training at the Edith Duncan school at the age of 2.5 winning 6 Scottish titles, countless medals and trophies, BATD scholarship.wins and dancing with the Scottish ballet and there was never anything else on the radar as a career.
Furthering her training, at the ISTD's London college of dance, she graduated with a diploma as well as distinction in teaching and her ISTD associates in tap, ballet and modern as well as advanced dancers exams in national and greek.
Upin returning to her home city of Aberdeen in 1990, Sharon immediately opened her school and soon expanded into cheerleading through the British Cheerleading Association and is now a fully qualified Intermational Cheer Union coach and judge in cheer, lyrical, jazz, pom, hip hop and high kick.
Further to that, Sharon has also branched into Acrobatic Dance and holds the IDTA Acrobatic Dance Diploma as well as Acrobatic Arts qualifications on top of her IDTA tap, ballet and modern Associates.
Having gained her ISTD licentiate in tap last year, Sharon is currently studying for her Fellowship.
Sharon strongly believes you should never stop learning and always try to better yourself.
In 2022, Sharon found her forever studio home and opened the Sharon Gill Dance Academy which is home to over 300 students from 18 months to 76 covering all genres and fitness classes.

Sharon is proud to have her passion as her career and encourages everyone to chase their dreams.

Sharon tells everyone that today, all you need to do is do your routine "1 more time" from the training room to the stage but this time with an audience. Show us your enjoyment of dance.

We are so very grateful to have Sharon on board with us at our final competition of the year.

*ATTENTION* all schools and independents that are competing at our 7th of December competition have been emailed. Please double check your schools entry’s and get back to Sean our admin via email no later than Saturday morning. We have trophy’s on production and need to finalise all awards. I understand everyone is busy but we all have the responsibilities of checking the entry’s we have made. Any issues or mistakes please let Sean know and he will sort them out.

Who’s ready for our final comp of the season🥳 7th December 2025, this comp was sold out within minutes of going live. Super excited to see all new and returning schools👯 spectator tickets are now available and are first come first served basis. We have some larger schools attending with quite big spectator numbers this time so we’re anticipating bands will sell out pretty quickly.
