May Horns Penzance 🌿 As the sun sets over Penzance and Newlyn, streets erupt with horns and drums.

Figures dressed in green and foliage converge to drive out the Devil of Winter, led by Old Ned and his teazer, parading toward Penzance and calling forth summer’s light. 🌿

A wonderful evening, lying in bed, slightly broken. So grateful to everyone who came along but especially Phil Northcott for loaning us a voice loud enough to silence the May Horns, for Folktree Choir for bringing us together in enchanting song and Raffidy Dumitz for their raucous tunes which resulted in wild Serpents and dancing.

Today's the day!

Showers are on the forecast but we carry on regardless. That sun won't shine itself! Let's drive the Devil of Winter away together and get the summer we all deserve (gorretti anyone?) We can always dry ourselves off to some song and dance in the Union after.

After delays in delivery & missing Tshirts we've finally sent out the merchandise. Penzance addresses to be hand dropped tomorrow. These things are very tricky to plan for around a busy working and family life. We're very sorry but everyone should have their parcels ready for the big day. But here's a reminder what it's all about. The noisiest parade around on Sunday no less. Wear Green and white and bring something noisy!

These pics were drawn by our daughters 6&3 which they did themselves when we got back from Trevithick Day on Saturday. Apparently they were inspired by all our scribbling for the merch. Encouragement indeed 🌱🌸
