Hi everyone,
Many of you will be aware that 2024 has been an especially challenging year for me health-wise. A reoccurrence reared its ugly head in February with some horrible symptoms and in June it had progressed so significantly that I spent 6 weeks in hospital for emergency surgery to remove several tumours which were blocking my small bowel and stopping me from eating and drinking.
Pseudomyxoma Survivor, a small charity, kindly provided accommodation for my family during my time in The Christie Hospital which was comforting for all in very worrying times.
As a way to 'give back', Amanda is running the Yorkshire Marathon on Sunday 20th October and is hoping to raise much needed funds for the charity. If you feel able to help, we would be incredibly grateful if you could pop some money on her Just Giving Page ...

I'm recovering well at home now, getting stronger each day and nervously waiting for my first post-op CT scan results; they couldn't remove all of my tumours but I'm really hoping that what is left hasn't grown!
