Pauntley Village Hall

Pauntley Village Hall Village Hall We are fortunate to have a fast fibre broadband connection at the hall.

As part of their continued commitment to empowering rural communities, Gigaclear’s Community Hub Scheme has kindly provided our fast fibre broadband connection free of charge, including a free broadband service for the first year. This has benefitted hall users including the parish council who meet at the hall, Guiding and Scouting groups who use the hall for meetings and camping, and classes such

as Pilates where participants are able to join via Zoom. We are very grateful to Gigaclear for supporting our village hall and enabling us to extend its use by the community. If you are planning an event which would benefit from a good broadband connection please get in touch with us and come to visit the hall.

Next Sunday 17th May at Pauntley Village Hall

Final of Women's Six Nations Championship. Doors open 15.45, KO 16.45. Drinks will be available.

You may not have been a keen fan of Women’s Rugby Union, but the Red Roses have been playing with record attendances at their matches. If you have not watched it up until now you will be surprised how physical and entertaining it is, so do come along on Sunday 17th May for the 16.45 kick-off.

Twickenham saw a crowd of over 76,000 and for the England Welsh game at Bristol it was a sellout crowd. When Scotland played England at Murrayfield there was again a record crowd for a women’s match.

If you have not watched any of the Women’s Six Nations championship matches now is the chance to come along to Pauntley Village Hall and watch it on the big screen when France takes on England in Bordeaux for the title.

All welcome to join us.

Friday 8th May – ‘Time for a Cuppa’ Coffee Morning at Pauntley Village Hall, supporting Dementia UK. 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.

Don't forget that tomorrow, Friday 8th May, is our ‘Time for a Cuppa’ coffee morning, raising money for Dementia UK, who provide specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse Service.

Come along at any time during the morning for tea/coffee and cake, and help us to raise money so that we can have more of these nurses and support more families.

All welcome, and donations of cakes for the morning would also be welcomed. We raised £210 for this cause last year so it would be good to beat that this year!

We hope you can join us tomorrow, but if you can't come along but would still like to support this event, there is a fundraising page you can make a donation on - this is for the Pauntley Village Hall event but it is in my name as the organiser and any monies raised through this will be added to the total for the morning. You can donate any amount you choose - it all helps, however small. The link is below:
