A huge part of Paisley Book Festival is our schools programme. This morning we were joined by over 100 S3 pupils who heard talk about the various influences that helped her craft her multi-award winning novel Glasgow Boys.

Margaret is the youngest ever winner of the Carnegie Medal for Writing in its almost 90-year history, and from the pupil feedback received after the event, it seems there are more than few budding authors who will follow in her footsteps.

An inspiring morning as we kick off the Paisley Book Festival weekend 📙
