Again this week our committee member Bradley has been busy. 🙏

This week he has sourced hi viz vests tops, printed with our logo and created a new partner and sponsor with I-Design in Dawlish.

Well today our committee member Bradley arranged for some very welcome networking with the local emergency services, many thanks to Brixham Police , South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Paul from Riviera Event Solutions CIC for arriving for the photo opportunity. ( The fire service were busy on a call out )

Calling all local traders 🍒🍒🍒🍒

Saturday 11th July 2026 , noon till 7

Following our first planning meeting last night we have confirmed we are having trade pitches again 💪🥰🍒

Pitches can OLNY be booked by sending your request ( number of 3x3m pitches required and type of goods sold ) to [email protected] and will on a first come first served basis (15 pitches available )

And it starts again, this Monday we have our 1st planning meeting ready for our 2026 Cherry pie day🍒🍒🍒

Lots of our usual attractions are already in place and our stage timetable is taking shape, watch this space for our headline act as we have a fabulous act that we are ‘letting him entertain you’ 🎤🎵🎼🎶

Well , what a dull day it is today! We wave goodbye to storm Claudia and if you are looking for an indoor event give a thought to White Rock preschool.

Today is their Autumn Fayre at Hookhills community centre, lots of local independent traders selling a wide range of goods. ( I’m sure there will be lots of Christmas ideas too).

Doors open at 10am.

What a fabulous morning we had, members of our core committee spent the morning at Childrens week Torbay.

We were invited to be on the judging panel for the fancy dress contest and we unanimously picked ‘The hungry caterpillar ‘as our overall winner (a fantastic costume).

Following our judging duties we were welcomed onto the stage to present our £5000 cheque to the children’s week chairman and committee members.

Only the beginning of people to thank.
Let’s start with everyone that came to our event, it was a joy to see so many familiar faces and soooo many new ones too. 🥰🥰🥰

A massive thanks to Hookhills Community Centre for supporting us with use of their facilities and spaces, also this year Trevor the clubs chairman and many members of his family and friends for delivering our Kids zone with various games and challenges,

Nigel Birch our technical support for again setting up our outside bar and keeping it running smoothly all day.🍺🍻🍷🍾

The Exjet Services stage:-
Faced with, let say some tech issues our great friend Anthony Smith and his trustee assistant Bradley Kersey kept the day running smoothly with fabulous sets from Beverley Holidays entertainments team, our Samba band, JW Music, and Sam & The Strings
And a well received master class in line dancing from Offbeat Dance & Fitness. 🎶🎼🎵💃🕺🏻

Having sadly been let down by a local booked artist we send out a massive thank you to our good friend Debbie for warming up her vocal cords in a matter of minutes and delivering a great set to save the day. 💃🎤🎵🎶

Our very own Ron assisted by Lorraine and Jackie for making soo many Cherry pies. Many thanks to you too. 🥧

Good morning all,
Forgive me for having a day off yesterday but I think many of us were a little bit tired. 🤣🤣🤣

WOW What a day. 🥰 I think you’ll have to agree, WE BROUGHT THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER. 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪

This core team below ⬇️⬇️⬇️ and the many volunteers that helped set up, pull down, and made the day run like clockwork are just amazing people and we thank them all 🥰🥰🙏🥰🥰
