What a shame. One of the best bands ever to grace the War and Peace stage. Get well soon King.
The King is dead, long live the King.
After much deliberation I have decided to finally hang up the suits and wig and retire King Rocker. The covid pandemic took a heavy toll on the King of Rock n Roll and the after effects of long covid, plus significant weight loss, mean that the moves don’t groove and the s**t don’t fit so it’s time to call it a day.
Massive thanks to Al Cormell, Greg Darby, Simon Badham, and Ian Rushbury for making it a reality and to Eddy Geach, Adam Barker, Leon Smith, Ash Baker and McKinley Chadwick for keeping the flame - I count myself very lucky to not only have worked with these guys but to have them as friends.
Love and thanks to our respective partners who let us out to play, looked after us and made coming home worth going out for.
And a great big hunk o’ burnin’ love to the venues, promotors, festivals and fans who made it such a rewarding experience. To have so many people buy into it and give it their support was truly humbling.
Thank you. Thank you very much ###
