FloFest & GloFest 2026. June 20th A family friendly, fun filled day and evening of music, food, drink and other activities/attractions This is a community event, volunteer organised and run.

FloFest/GloFest
Annual Free Oxford Mid Summer Community, Music and Family Friendly Festival
Live bands, Music, Community Groups, Variety, Dog show, Arts, Food, Drink, Rides, Sport. In 2023, we will be back in the park in the Summer on Saturday June 17th from 11am - 4.30pm for FloFest and 6.30pm - 11.30pm for GloFest. FloFest is free to access with lots of free activities for families and adults,

music and food. GloFest is a ticketed event with live bands, music and bar - this paid aspect of the day helps us to be able to offer FloFest as a free daytime event

FloFest have added in a winter festival called Funding the Light. This year, 2023, will be our 3rd year lighting up the park and we will be doing 2 nights. This is a free event. On Nov 17th & 18th.

FloFest finishes at 4.30pm and that's when we really need volunteers to help 'walk' vehicles in and out of the park (for those packing away their stalls).
This is a really important time for us to get covered and though we can't offer a GloFest ticket for doing only 1hour we can offer you a free drink from the bar.
If you would like to join the team this year, there is a spread sheet of the areas/roles that we need help with. In return we offer a free volunteer's GloFest ticket and a meal provided by 'Oxford Community Action' on the day.

FloFest would not be the great day it always is without a team of incredible volunteers. Those volunteering (often year after year) are so generous with their time and energy, without who, it would be very hard to create such a magical day.
