Prof. Dr. Giedrė Kvieskienė is the author of the more than 270 articles in children welfare, positive socialization, social emotional education, and education policy, with a focus on social communication and social education. Her research interests relate to social partnership, social business, and smart socialization, positive socialization, social-emotional education.

We are proud to announce Icarss Conference Keynote Speaker Dr. Claudia Landolfi who is a Member of an Italian centre, the CELPE – the Centre for Economic and Labour Policy Evaluation of the University of Salerno. She is an Italian philosopher of the metamorphosis of contemporary subjectivity in digital apparatuses. She is an essayist, researcher, counselor and teacher. Dr. Claudia Landolfi held noumeorous international conferences, wrote books and essays in English and Italian languages.

Please welcome conference speaker, Dr. Masahiro Takimoto who is a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics at the University of Cambridge and also a visiting fellow at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. Everyone who studies or teach foreign languages, will gain a lot from his speech titled "Application of Cognitive Linguistics and Right-hemisphere in Foreign Language Teaching."

Masahiro’s research is focused on the application of cognitive linguistics in foreign language teaching. The primary way of the application is associated with spatial concept projection, through which learners understand the target concepts in terms of the embodied cognition utilizing spatial concepts. His current research interests are focused on analyzing the spatial concept-oriented metaphor approach from the perspectives of brain neural basis to confirm whether it is a neuroscientifically proven approach to improving learners’ L2 language proficiency. Masahiro completed his Ed.M.at Harvard University, his Ed.D. at Temple University in the USA, his first Ph.D. at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and his second Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo in Japan.
