What our Deep Cover friend said...
We posted this forward-thinking visual a couple of years ago before the 2017 election, and it feels like now might be the right time to dig it up again.
That was the year that the highest voter turnout since 1997 lost Theresa May her majority, and left her only around 7 seats away from losing her grip on the country entirely.
It was also the day that we reclaimed local constituency Oxford West & Abingdon from the Conservatives for the first time since 2010.
Your vote, especially if you're young, and/or haven't voted before, is VERY IMPORTANT and CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE both locally and nationally.
Sadly in 2017 we were unable to oust the toxic tory administration, but we do have another shot at doing so on December 12. If this intimidating photograph of a man eating a watermelon with a Deep Cover sticker on his head inspires even one of you to engage with modern politics, we're counting that as a huge win for the gang.
WE BEG YA - if you've not yet registered to vote, make sure you do so by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT so that you can have your say, whatever your politics.
Takes 5 mins, do it here: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
