WE’RE HIRING - JOIN OUR CREW!

Following the recent award of £210,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund we’re looking for a Heritage Project Manager to help steer The Kilsby Boat Project, an inspiring community heritage initiative transforming a 1912 canal boat into a floating creative and cultural hub. You’ll coordinate plans, people, and partnerships; support volunteers; and help share the story of Kilsby’s revival across Oxford’s waterways.

If you love bringing people together, shaping ideas, and making community heritage come alive, we’d love to hear from you!

🕰️ Part-time freelance role – 6 days/month
📅 Fixed term: 2 years from Jan 2026
📍 Based in Jericho, Oxford (remote flexibility)
💰 Fee: circa £20–23K

Coming up on the 11th! The three Idle Women featured at the canal festival in 2024. They'll be singing at the beautiful St Andrew's Church in Linton Road on Saturday 11th October. Were you at the Oxford Canal Festival in September 2024? Watch Channel 4's Narrow Escapes next week as The festival is featured through the lense of the wonderful Curry Cruiser who supplied us all with some delicious food and treats. We look forward to them coming back again in 2026! The show runs every day from from 4pm -5pm until the end of May and is also available on streaming channels with lots of other great stories of life afloat.

Great to see the Curry Cruiser back in Jericho after the canal festival, lovely food get in quick!

Hello all 🙂We are delighted to announce that we will be open for trade in Oxford this Friday in the evening 5-7.30pm and on Saturday from 11- 4pm.
We will be moored up at Jericho opposite College Cruisers.

Vegetarian and Vegan options will be available alongside a couple of lamb and Chicken dishes. A detailed menu to follow. 🙏
