Oxford International Model United Nations (OxIMUN)

OxIMUN is the annual flagship event held by the Oxford University United Nations Association (OUUNA).

The Oxford International Model United Nations conference (OxIMUN) is Europe's premier Model United Nations conference. Held in the historic city of Oxford, OxIMUN brings together delegates from different countries and backgrounds to debate pressing global issues, listen to illustrious guest speakers and partake in exceptional social events. Delegates are promised an academically rigorous and culturally rich experience that is unlike any other.

Chair and Delegate registrations are now open!

Chair Applications close on the 15th of August, with early bird delegate registration closing on the 1st of August, and regular delegate registration closing on the 30th of September. Please see our website for all registrations and information at the link bio!

We are releasing applications for the OXIMUN Committee 2024, Oxford University United Nations Association’s flagship Model United Nations Conference. OXIMUN is Europe’s premier international university MUN conference, and will be held across Oxford in Michaelmas 2024.

We are now recruiting the next Secretary-General of the Oxford International Model United Nations conference! Every year, we welcome hundreds of delegates from the UK and across the world to discuss and debate pressing issues of international concern.

As the Secretary-General, you will be responsible for delivering the November 2024 edition of the conference by recruiting and leading the organising team. Organisation of the conference requires logistical, budgetary, and interpersonal skills, as well an understanding of the unique logistical requirements of a Model UN Conference. Therefore, candidates with experience in Model UN are especially encouraged to apply. This will definitely be a rewarding experience and a great addition to your CV!

The Oxford University United Nations Association is recruiting its next Secretary-General of the Oxford International Model United Nations Conference! The Conference finds its roots in the debates modelled on those of the League of Nations from 1921, since then we have regularly welcomed students from the UK and across the world to discuss and debate pressing issues of international concern. As the Secretary-General, you will be responsible for delivering the November 2023 edition of the Conference by overseeing the Secretariat and providing a guiding influence, you will be the face of the Conference and responsible for its success. The organisation of the Conference requires logistical, budgetary, and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of the unique logistical requirements of a MUN Conference, therefore those with extensive experience of MUN are especially encouraged to apply.
