The Otford Village Fete, run by The Otford Society, is one of the biggest in Kent. Held every year for over 80 years.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to the forecast of extreme heat on Monday, the Elands Fun Dog Show has been CANCELLED.
🐾 PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS TO THE FETE. 🐾
But there’s still plenty for you to enjoy! Instead of the dog show, come and join the Elands team at their stand at 11:30am, 12:15pm, and 1:00pm for fun, interactive sessions for all ages. At 1:45pm the RSPCA Kent-West Branch will be giving a talk about rescue animals.
Find out why the dog show had to be cancelled and learn how hot weather can affect your pets.

Meet the vets and nurses and discover what they do.

Learn about dog behaviour and how to recognise important warning signs.

Have a go at bandaging stuffed toys.

Play fun games using vet equipment like forceps and water syringes.

Test your skills with the “Guess What’s in the X-ray?” challenge.

Visit the photo booth - bring your teddy or toy dog and strike your best pose!
Lots of fun for children and adults alike. We can't wait to see you all on Monday!

We’re delighted to be bringing another exciting attraction to the Otford Village Fete.

Join Bricks 4 Kidz for a hands-on LEGO® building experience, featuring motorised Technic models and free-play activities.

Location: St Bartholomew’s Church Hall (on the right-hand side as you enter the main village car park)
Session length: 30 minutes
Suitable for: Children aged 4+ (must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver)

Places are strictly limited and advance booking is essential. Unfortunately we won't be able to accommodate walk-ins on the day.

We need your help!!!!

The Otford Village Fete is fast approaching, and we are once again, looking for volunteers to help on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May.

Whether you can spare just an hour on the day, or assist with preparations the day before, your contribution will be hugely appreciated. Every pair of hands makes a massive difference and helps us create a memorable day for everyone in our village.

Volunteering at the fete is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in your community and connect with your neighbours. Don’t miss out on being part of something special!

In celebration of this year’s fete theme — The 200th Anniversary of the Modern Railway - we’re thrilled to present a very special attraction at the Otford Village Fete tomorrow!

The Tonbridge Model Railway Club https://www.tonbridgemrc.com will be showcasing their impressive “Westerham” layout .

Make sure you visit this fantastic display in the Church Hall, located on the right as you enter the village car park. Just follow the signs outside which will point you to the hall.

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to experience a truly detailed and captivating model railway which is fun for all ages!

The big day is nearly here!!

Our amazing team of volunteers have been working non-stop over the past few months to make sure Monday’s fete is a fantastic day out for everyone.

Tomorrow, our volunteers will be busy setting up, and on Monday they'll be working hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a result, we may not have time to respond to questions here.

We are not printing programmes this year but you will find QR codes on posters around the fete ground which you can scan which will also take you directly to the website.
