In celebration of this year’s fete theme — The 200th Anniversary of the Modern Railway - we’re thrilled to present a very special attraction at the Otford Village Fete tomorrow!

The Tonbridge Model Railway Club https://www.tonbridgemrc.com will be showcasing their impressive “Westerham” layout .

Make sure you visit this fantastic display in the Church Hall, located on the right as you enter the village car park. Just follow the signs outside which will point you to the hall.

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to experience a truly detailed and captivating model railway which is fun for all ages!

The big day is nearly here!!

Our amazing team of volunteers have been working non-stop over the past few months to make sure Monday’s fete is a fantastic day out for everyone.

Tomorrow, our volunteers will be busy setting up, and on Monday they'll be working hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a result, we may not have time to respond to questions here.

For all the information you need, please visit the website: https://otfordvillagefete.org — you'll find details about almost everything there! We are not printing programmes this year but you will find QR codes on posters around the fete ground which you can scan which will also take you directly to the website.

The bunting is up around the village as we get ready for the Otford Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May!

A huge thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who came out this morning and worked so hard to make everything look beautiful — we truly couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

We’re still looking for a few more helping hands on Fete day — just an hour or two of your time can make a big difference in keeping this fantastic village event running smoothly.

This year at the Otford Village Fete, The Otford Society is introducing a special area for young entrepreneurs to trade alongside our popular Craft Village. If you know a talented young person who creates and sells handmade items, this is a great opportunity for them to showcase their work and gain experience in selling to the public.

Just a reminder that if you would like to take part in our 2025 Art Competition, today (31st March) is the closing date for entries. You will find details on how to enter at the link below ⬇️ Completed entries should be handed in at the Otford Parish Office, 21 High Street, Otford, TN14 5PG no later than 12.30 today.

Calling all young artists!

To coincide with this year’s fete theme “The 200th Anniversary of the Modern Railway” We’re inviting all children in Otford to take part in our competition to design this year’s fete poster which will appear all around the village and on our social media. To enter this competition, you MUST either live, or go to school in Otford.

The closing date for the competition is Monday 31st March.
