Azores Freediving very generously sponsored the Bristol Blue 2026 offering all those at the comp the opportunity to win an online EQ coaching session. We added all the names of all the athletes, safety team, volunteers and judges in to a Wheel of Fortune to randomly pick the winners.

The lucky winners were Anny Hsieh from the safety team, Flynn Thomas and Halle who was a volunteer moving the starter blocks out the lanes for the athletes.

These sessions are where many of our best club members began!
They’re a great way to build real freediving skills, whether or not you go on to join the club. Past divers have used what they learned for light diving trips, national contests, or simply developed powerful breathwork and relaxation techniques.

You won’t get a qualification, but this Taster brings you about 75% of the way to an AIDA 2, which opens doors to dive trips, courses abroad, and more.

We only run these a couple of times a year, and places are limited to around 16 people, with a strong 2-to-1 instructor ratio to give you a solid, safe experience.

This is probably the only one until autumn, so if you’re still curious, this could be your moment :)
