Fairy & Fantasy Festival
Oakworth Fairy & Fantasy festival has been running as a yearly event since 2009, making this year our 10th anniversary! We live in the heart of Oakworth, West Yorkshire in the beautiful Holden Park, which was once grounds to the house of Sir Isaac Holden. Complete with bowling greens, children’s play area, and manmade caves, and forests to explore.
The event itself is a magical community driven day out, filled with music, food, stalls, and lots of other entertainment (Keep an eye on the page for more being announced soon), and of course not to mention fairies and fantasy creatures!
The event is free for all, and everyone is welcome!
Recently the event was passed on to a new team of people all volunteering to help grow the event. Our team is mostly made up of University students who study relevant fields, in regards to what they do at the event. However the reason we run the event remains the same.
