Women in Music is a new initiative in Nottingham aimed to address the gender imbalance in the music industry. Our aim is to create an environment that encourages open discussion and creates a platform for positive change and affirmative action. Our inaugural event took place on 7th March at Rescue Rooms and was open to people of all genders and at all levels of their careers. The evening featured

an interview and panels discussing what challenges women currently face, what work businesses can do to improve diversity and what is being done currently to implement change.
