Hey I’m dan Bowater the person behind TCSMS. Every year since 2019, I’ve watched The Church Sound & Media Summit grow not just in numbers, but in heart.
More people have come. More people have backed it. We’ve diversified the exhibition, expanded the number of seminars, given away more sponsored tickets and hotel rooms, and involved more people in making it happen and we’ve done all of that while keeping ticket prices the same.
That’s been intentional. Because for me, this isn’t just an event. It’s about building community, defining our culture, and creating a space where church tech teams can learn, be encouraged, and feel like they belong.
But I also want to be honest with you: costs have risen massively. In some cases, they’re up by over 50%. We’ve always managed to break even, but it’s getting harder each year, especially because the majority of bookings still tend to come in right at the last moment.
So can I ask you a favour?
If you’re thinking about coming this year, please don’t leave it until the final days. Booking you and your team in sooner rather than later genuinely helps me plan properly, and if I’m honest, it saves me a lot of anxiety too.
