What makes Hillhead different?

It's the opportunity to see the latest technology in action, watch machines working in a real quarry environment, and get up close to the equipment shaping the future of the industry.

At Hillhead 2024, visitors witnessed everything from autonomous dump truck demonstrations showcasing the latest advances in automation and machine technology, to packed crowds lining the Quarry Face to watch live equipment demonstrations unfold.

Away from the demo areas, visitors had the chance to climb aboard, inspect and compare hundreds of machines and products from across the quarrying, construction and recycling sectors.

Looking ahead to Hillhead 2026, the Quarry Face will once again be one of the show's biggest attractions. Alongside a wide range of live demonstrations, visitors can also experience our new curated demo sessions, with manufacturers including XCMG taking part in hosted showcases featuring live machine operation, expert commentary and manufacturer interviews.

With 620+ exhibitors, four live demonstration areas and countless opportunities to discover the latest equipment and technology, there's plenty to look forward to this June.

From 23–25 June, the industry’s attention will once again turn to Hillhead Quarry near Buxton, as the world’s leading working quarry exhibition returns with 600+ exhibitors, major OEMs, live demonstrations and new technology launches across the site.

This year’s preview showcases a huge cross-section of the quarrying, construction and recycling sectors, including:
