Absolutely this!

What a great team!!

As we go into National Volunteers Week, we'd like to give a huge shout out of thanks and appreciation to the amazing volunteers involved with us at Kimberley Town Council.

To Eric and Margaret who volunteer with us tending the towns garden areas and keep them looking lovely and cared for.
To Barry, Graham and Marie who volunteer with us as part of the Events Committee, and assist in helping out with events alongside our Councillors.
To Clare and Gaynor who also volunteer at our events to assist on the day.
To Mike and everyone else who has joined us over the last 2 and half years on community litter picks.

All of us here at Kimberley Town Council say
Thank you! We are truly grateful to have an amazing team of community minded, selfless people on board!

We'd also like to thank all of the amazing volunteers in the community who aren't directly involved with us at the Council, but in whatever capacity they volunteer in and around Kimberley, you are all amazing people, well done and thank you!

Kimberley Food Festival 2026 is set to be another cracking day out!

This event is FREE to enter, with musical performances throughout the day, FREE children's entertainment and activities, variety of hot and cold food vendors, craft and gift stalls, drinks stalls, funfair rides.

It's nearly time to start the Huge Kimberley Easter Egg Hunt!!

Can you find all the Easter Eggs hiding in local businesses or around the town?

Collect a sheet from Ziggy's Emporium, The Gate Inn / The Gate Inn or from the Council Office during opening hours, and get hunting!!

Some eggs are hiding inside, so make sure to check inside our local businesses and peruse their products! Maybe even get yourself a half-term treat whilst you're at it and support local!

Completed sheets can be returned to the same places you collected from. The prize draw will take place next Thursday. Five winners will be announced.

Well, the kids have broken up now for Easter.
But don't despair!!
The Great Kimberley Easter Egg Hunt starts Wednesday 1st April! 🐣🐰

Find all the hidden eggs in local businesses and around the town and hand your sheet back in by midday on 8th April to be in with a chance of winning an Easter themed prize!

There will be eggs in windows, eggs inside the businesses, and even some eggs hiding around the town itself. Can you find them all? 🥚🥚

Egg Hunt Activity Sheets can be collected and returned to our office at Kimberley Institute Cricket Club, The Gate Inn/ The Gate Inn and Ziggy's Emporium during their standard opening hours.

We've even heard that the Easter Bunny may have left some treats for those taking part in some of our local businesses.

Keep your eyes peeled for further updates and maybe even some clues as the holidays progress.

After a brief delay to collect some last minute entries for the Valentine's Love Lotto we can reveal the winners of this year's Love Lotto!

Firstly a huge thank-you to the following businesses for partaking!
Wright Cut Barbers, Cricketers Rest, W Creative Salon, The Dog House at Kimberley, Salon Twenty9, Taste Of Korea, Olde English Chippy, The White Lion, Kimberley, Nelson Railway Inn Hotel, Lynns Hair Designs & Beauty Bar, Rumbletums Café & Training Project, Simla Restaurant, Nawaab SAAB and The Royal Oak, Watnall

Secondly another huge thank you to all those who participated by filling in a Love Lotto Raffle Slip from one of the businesses above.

Our Events Committee Chair enlisted the assistance of some little helpers to pick out the winners from over 800 completed slips and our office will be contacting all winners on Monday.
