The Foolhardy takeover in the woodland of Bearded Theory was absolutely electric šŸ’š

The vibes were immaculate as people partied in the woodland with friends both new and old, to the soundtrack of this yearā€™s festival. Artists such as K.O.G, Nuala and our very own host Beans on Toast all took to the stage and brought the best music amongst the trees.

We canā€™t wait till this yearā€™s festival, thereā€™s not long to go and tickets are flying out!

Up next on our artist spotlight, please welcome Badly Drawn BoyšŸ«¶

English indie singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who goes by the alias Badly Drawn Boy will be at this year's festival! The Mercury Prize winning artist is best known for his intricate, lilting melodies, quirky but heartfelt lyrics and creating the gorgeous soundtrack for ā€œAbout A Boyā€.

Introducingā€¦ 3 Daft MonkeysšŸ„

Over the coming weeks weā€™ll be reintroducing our artists for this year's festival and weā€™re starting with the Cornwall acoustic band that is 3 Daft Monkeys. Seamlessly blending folk music traditions with an infectious energy we cannot wait to welcome them to the Arboretum this August. Having graced stages alongside the iconic Levellers band, and being firm Glastonbury Festival favourites, we know they are perfect for the Foolhardy Folk Festival bill!

We cannot wait for the August Bank Holiday and the return of the Foolhardy Folk Festival. This year marks the 8th year of this event and every year it keeps getting better and better. With a lovingly handcrafted line-up by our very own host with the most, Beans on Toast and the most gorgeous location in the heart of Nottingham, what more can you want!

We are thrilled to announce The Foolhardy tree has officially been planted in the heart of our festival sitešŸ«¶šŸ»šŸŒ³

We cannot wait to watch it grow throughout the next few years as we embrace the music, trees and revelry over at the Arboretum!
