A reminder about our concert coming up on Sunday 12th April. This is our final concert of the season so do support it if you can!
We are thrilled to welcome cellist Clare O’Connell and harpist Eleanor Turner to perform for us. Expect dazzling virtuosity, intimate solo moments, and music that dances between passion and delicacy. Along the way, discover hidden gems by Stefano Landi and Nicola Matteis before the programme gently unfolds into the hauntingly beautiful Six Studies in English Folk Song by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
From ornate Baroque brilliance to the warmth of English folk melodies, this is a concert full of contrast, colour and emotion.
You can catch a glimpse of Clare and Eleanor together in this clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzNKVImD_ko
"Two of the most talented and intelligent musicians I’ve had the privilege to work with. Bringing impeccable technique and sensitivity to everything they do they are also much more in tune with the meaning and intention of the material than many musicians.” - Harvey Brough, Composer & Musician
Admission: £15 for adults, £7.50 for students and free admission for children
