Phew, that was a warm one! 😎🥵🥵☀️☀️

Well done to all the 539 people who braved the very challenging warm conditions to run, jog and walk the course this morning. We were pleased to welcome 73 first timers to Eaton Park and amazingly 71 recorded new Personal Bests. 👏👏👏

Congratulations to Josh Mercer who completed his 50th and to Robert Organ who completed his 250th Parkrun this morning. 🥳🥳

Hello lovely parkrunners

The call for June volunteers has just dropped. If you would like to make a difference to over 600 people and volunteer on a Saturday morning, please get in touch with Mary and Sarah our volunteer coordinators at [email protected]

We’ve struggled to fill the roster in the last few weeks so please consider volunteering if you haven’t done so for a while.

Here are the dates for June - 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

All offers of help will be very welcome and much appreciated.

We also need a few more funnel managers for this coming Saturday - 30th May

A blistering hot day for parkrun. Thank goodness for Eaton Park’s shady avenues of trees. 🌞🌞🌳🌳

Well done to the 647 people who completed the course today, including 79 first timers. 74 people got PBs. Brilliant!👏👏

Congratulations to David Barnfield who did parkrun with friends this morning, before heading off to get married to Jaya. Hope you had a joyful day, David.

Shout outs, too, for Shaun Potter (100th parkrun) and Sarah Preston (150th parkrun), and for Oliver McCormack, who was celebrating his birthday by running his 138th parkrun.

Lots to celebrate in the sunshine at Eaton Park this morning.

Many congratulations to Sarah Todd who completed her 250th Parkrun this morning. 🤩🤩

Many thanks and congratulations to Lesley Shipgood who volunteered for the 200th time today. Lesley is one of our early volunteers who helps set up the event for us. Her preparation of the finish funnel cones is second to none. 🧡🧡

Congratulations also to Henna Pick a junior park runner who completed her 10th Parkrun today. 👏👏

Happy 60th birthday to Kevin Thompson who ran parkrun today with an inflatable zimmer frame. 🥳🥳
