I was asked to be celebrant for R & L’s 40th wedding anniversary and surprise vow renewal at the amazing Caistor Hall Hotel yesterday.
✨
Only R, the lovely James the DJ, the Caistor hall team and I knew what was really happening.
✨
L was applauded as she was walked in by their son J.
✨
They read vows that I had written from each of their favourite songs and everyone joined in to toast the happy couple

This came in the post today from M&D Celebrant Plus - Ceremony Revolutionaries!
Even though I’m in my 6th year as a celebrant, I got a great deal out of the online course.
I take CPD very seriously and crafting the scenarios for the final assessment was an absolute joy!
Time to take my funeral celebrancy to the next level.

We at ICR HQ believe that as well as all the fabulous learning experiences that take place at our events, it’s equally important for us to build in plenty of opportunity for our retreaters to relax, have fun and to release their inner child!

And this year was no different!

Over our four days together at Huntsham Court we sung our hearts out, we played games, we took part in a fun ‘celebrant quiz’ but the highlight (as usual) was our ‘party night’, where most of us put on a few sparkles, hit the bar, turned up the 80’s tunes and danced the night away together.

This year there were tutus, sequins and lighty-up flower headbands! And whilst some people chose to chill and chat in front of a roaring fire, the rest of us enjoyed a wonderful evening where we all let our hair down in a safe and super-fun space. 💃🏾 🥳
