Strumpshaw Tree Fair

Strumpshaw Tree Fair 🎪 Family-run Fair celebrating artisans, woodworkers and performers
📍Strumpshaw New Hall & Steam Museum, NR13 4HR Of course, no fair is complete without a show!

Here you’ll get the chance to meet Norfolk’s skilled wood crafters and admire the intricate and creative designs they make from this wonderful natural material. There will be everything from willow sculptures, driftwood sculptures and traditionally crafted wooden Gypsy flowers to beautifully made bowls, hurdles, fencing, rakes, chairs, baskets, walking sticks and mirrors. The fair will be a chance

for Norfolk’s many artisans and food producers to showcase their talents. Come and marvel at the forge works, jewellery designers, soap makers and apothecaries. If you’re feeling peckish take a look at our freshly baked pizza, Caribbean cuisine, tacos that showcase Norfolk produce or wild game meat. And all while buskers entertain stall holders and public alike! So Dan the Hat will be delighting audiences all weekend. Whether you’re a regular visitor to Strumpshaw or this is your first time, you’re in for a surprise!

Even more excitingly, our very own festival founder will also be showing a film there this year 🎬🌙

We’re really pleased to welcome back willow artist Bob to this year’s Strumpshaw Tree Fair 🌿

Bob has been part of the Fair since the very beginning, creating distinctive willow sculptures using traditional basketry techniques. Based in the Norfolk Marshlands, he grows some of his own willow and sources finer material from the Somerset Levels.

His work is a familiar sight at the Fair, including the two large willow birds by the main stage, site decorations throughout the site, and a willow hare made for Moongazer at the Tree Pub. This year, we’ve also ordered a flock of long-tailed t**s for the Welcome Tent 🐦

Join us on 11th & 12th July - tickets are available on the gate in cash! 🎟️
