Last weekend we had an absolutely smashing Achtung! Cabaret event. We broke a new record for both attendance and performances, and a fantastic time was had all around. The steampunk and absinthe theme was a hit, and amazing costumes and outfits abounded.

Has someone seen my hat? My black leather cowboy style hat was put into the cloak room at Achtung! last weekend and seems to have been accidentally checked out! If anyone has seen it, or picked it up by accident, please let me know. Especially with this weather! :)

Just to confirm that there will be tickets for sale on the door of the event this Saturday, for the regular price of £15. But those won't qualify you for the prize draw to win a bottle of absinthe! You've got until Friday lunchtime to buy advance tickets from the website and have a go at that. :)

A proper way to prepare your absinthe with a fountain. NEVER use any flame or fire with absinthe. Just slow, steady cold water and you're set. Enjoy.
