Good evening fellow Dentonians!

DENT FEST is now only a few days away!

Last year we were raising funds for the football club, and for the general upkeep of the village hall, to enable us to keep putting on these types of events.

We also made a donation to the Performing Room, who are key in enabling us to put on an event of this size.

In addition, donations were made to the new playground fund in the Rec, a new defibrillator was located at the village hall, and also a new basketball hoop and backboard were purchased for the bottom playground down on the green.

This year we are raising funds for the same causes as last year, but in addition, we will be making donations to FODS, the village hall tots group and the renovation of the village water pumps that are in a serious state of disrepair.

Please show your support again as you did last year, and we are sure to have another fantastic day!

Times ticking away… Preparations are well underway and the village hall will start looking very festival like in the coming days exciting times.

Right onto the next act of the Dent fest Musical showcase is Faded Blues, this 4 Piece band from Northampton are going to blow the roof off the hall at 9.30, except to be truly entertained!! We can’t wait!!

This time next week it’ll all be over for another year, over to the next act for the Dent fest musical showcase is the brilliant Marabar Caves, after opening the festival last year they’ll be closing it this year.

The Northampton based band will give us lots and lots of energy to end the festival really looking forward to seeing them again.

With only 1 week to go.. Next on the Dent fest musical showcase are local band tablet. Born in Denton this band are returning this year as a 5 piece with new additions James on Drums and Marc on Keys.

Tablet will be performing outside around 5.30 on the day.
