Last night was amazing. Sharing the stage with Dr Mapfumo was such an honour. I got to share with him about how my father in love Zexie Manatsa was talking about him in his last minutes of life. The whole family was sitting around him in hospital talking and mdara started singing a song they wrote together with Dr Thomas back in the day. He passed away just about 15mins later surrounded by family. I was pleased to be able to share the story with Dr Mapfumo last night❤️

To everyone who showed up and showed love at Thomas Mapfumo Grand Finale Show in UK, at The New Bingley Hall in Birmingham last Saturday 23rd August — THANK YOU! 🇿🇼❤️

The support, energy, and unity were truly powerful, and it has not gone unnoticed. We appreciate each and every one of you who attended, shared kind words, and even gave us constructive feedback — it's all helping us grow and improve future events.

We’d also like to address the issue regarding the bar. Unfortunately, the venue underestimated the demand for alcohol at a Zimbabwean event — this was their first time hosting one of our kind. While we communicated the expected demand well in advance, they’ve since apologised for not fully cooperating or preparing adequately. We share your frustration, and we want to sincerely apologise to everyone affected.

This was beyond our control, but we are taking it seriously and will work hard to ensure this doesn’t happen again at future events. Stay tuned👀🇿🇼
