Pickers & Grinners - The Old Time & Americana Music Sessions This page is for an Americana music making circle. We warmly welcome new players (Pickers) and viewers ( Grinners). All welcome 🎶

It's a very relaxed session with plenty of smiles and no ego's.. The session is once per month on the third Monday evening from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. The venue is at the Barn Room at the rear of The Sun pub, Hardingstone, Northampton, NN4-7BT near to M1 J15.

Howdy,

Just a reminder that the session on Monday 20th April 2026 will take place at the Royal Oak in Blisworth, in the barn behind the pub, from 7:30pm. This is because the function room at The Sun in Hardingstone had been booked out.

We'll return to Hardingstone in May.

I'm so very grateful to those who attend the session and thus help to keep it going. Each time I expect the turnout to be low people come along unannounced and it ends up being a buzzing session.

Tonight was a real luxury with no less than two fiddlers. A big thanks to Brigid & Jan it sounded fabulous. Thanks also goes out to Marcus & Andrea + Caroline who attended for the first time.

Until next month my friends, thank you being a part of it, either by following the FB page or by attending on the 3rd Monday of each month.
