Yorganics is a 100% recycled, peat-free compost accredited to the BSI PAS100 Standard. It is ideal for use in the garden, agriculture and horticulture.

Closed loop recycling in action! We make our peat-free Yorganics compost to the British Standards Institution (BSI) PAS100 standard. As a result, it has to pass stringent tests to be certified as a compost. For domestic gardens, we recommend buying Yorganics compost in 40-litre bags, for horticulture 60-litre bags or bulk bags (loose) will be more suitable and we can supply it to farmers and land managers in bulk. Yorganics is proven to have major benefits, including helping moisture and nutrient retention in soil, reducing the need for fertilisers as our compost contains Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium and increasing crop yields.

IT'S NATIONAL BOG DAY 📣

Celebrate the incredible biodiversity and ecological importance of bogs. 🌿

These unique wetlands provide crucial habitats for a wide range of species and play an essential role in water purification and carbon storage.

Bogs are mainly made up of decayed plant matter - peat, making them a type of peatland.

A highlight of today's Great Yorkshire Show is the judging of the Schools Veg Box Competition, which we were proud to sponsor by donating our Yorganics compost for the planting.

Just look how well their produce grew. We were amazed by the results! Well done to all the schools that took part.

🌼 It's Children's Gardening Week! 🌼

Here are some tips on how to get your little ones involved:

1) Get them their own supplies - Nothing is more exciting than getting some new "toys" to "play" with in the garden, such as their own pair of gloves, shovel, watering can, etc. 🧤

2) Let them make the holes and plant the seeds. 🌱

3) Allow them to water the plants daily. 🚿

4) Let them get dirty!! 🐾

5) Build a trellis fort 🏰
