We had a wonderful day on Thursday celebrating Onam. 💐

Everyone definitely enjoyed it, with lots of fun and laughter. The residents also loved seeing all the children, watching and dancing too.

There was such a range of competitive games:
1. Pass the ball; don't get caught holding it when the music stops,
2. Who can get the biscuits from their forehead to their mouth without touching,
3. Criss-cross. Being blind folded and walking with crossing legs to step beside each water cup,
4. Musical chairs, hope you find a seat when the music stops.

The food was exquisite; I'm sure many of us would have wanted to go back for more, but we were completely full.

Thank you to our amazing staff for organising the event and for all your hard work decorating and creating a programme to share the festivities with us. 💛🤍

We also had a go at guessing what language hello or thank you was being said in. An option of three places was given if it was needed. 🛬

Lots of our residents tried to also pronounce the words, there favourites to say were Bonjour 🇲🇫 and Nǐ hǎo 🇨🇳
