Massive congratulations to UAC - Ulster Automobile Club who have been crowned Motorsport UK’s 2024 Club of the Year!

The club has been in existence for over 100 years and is recognised for its inclusive and innovative approach to motorsport, celebrating current club members and providing opportunities for those interested in getting involved in Northern Ireland. The club is the only club in Northern Ireland to run events in the Irish Tarmac Rally and British Hill Climb Championships and the Northern Ireland Autotest, Hill Climb and Sprint Championships.

The club is particularly well known for its expertise in Hill Climb, Rally and Autotest and contributing to motorsport across Northern Ireland and beyond, following their organisation of the Circuit of Ireland Rally, a round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship in April and a round of the Northern Ireland Autotest Championship in March.

Wilson Carson, Chair of the UAC commented, “The Ulster Automobile Club are delighted to have been chosen as Motorsport UK’s Club of the year for 2024. Our members give up their time for the Club and it is great to see this being rewarded.

“Thank you to all our volunteers, members and committee members who give of their time freely, without them none of our events would take place. 2025 is an incredibly special year for the Ulster Automobile Club as we celebrate our 100th Anniversary.”

The event will commence at 7pm with awards presentation and dinner from 7.30pm.

It is with regret that the Ulster Automobile Club have made the decision to cancel the 2022 Knockagh Hill Climb, which was due to be the final round of the ANICC Hill Climb Championship & the UAC Club Championship.
This decision was not taken lightly, but due to lack of entries & rising costs this was not feasible to run.
We hope understand our decision & look forward to seeing you at our next event, the UAC October Sprint on Saturday 8th October at Kirkistown.
A full refund will be given to each entrant, but please be patient as this does take some time to process.
The Club would like to thank all those competitors that had entered & all those that had signed on to marshal.
Once again our sincere apologies.
