Yesterday’s Dog Show was excellent with a great turnout and over 120 entries in the various categories.
The most popular category was Best Rescue and there were special awards for both Foredowne and Woodside Rescues from the Judge Huw Peplow.

Good news story - Rasmus was a dog in need of a home and was scheduled to take part in Sundays parade of rescues - well he’s only gone and got himself a new home!
So we won’t get to meet him on Sunday- but what a great outcome for Rasmus! Well done lottery rescue!

It’s a chance to see Lizzie in the rescue parade and talk to the staff who look after him if you are interested in potentially offering him a home.
This will be an opportunity to start the initial steps of the adoption process by arranging a visit to Foredowne for a meet

As Abbfest gets underway with the Comedy Evening tonight, it’s an opportunity to reflect on the prizes available for the top dogs at this years Dogfest!
Each class has rosettes for 1-6, Best in Show, reserve best in show and best dog not to win a class.
And not forgetting the Dogfest BIS Trophy that the winner gets to keep for 12 months!
So if you’ve not already purchased your tickets do so today! Or tomorrow or Saturday!
Look forward to seeing you and your wonderful dogs on Sunday- doors open from 10.30 - first class judging at 11.15.

This is is Bodie, he is a 2yr old Husky cross Malinois, he has the most wonderful temperament, good with kids, dogs but not small furies. He is cuddly and also quite independently minded (typical husky)
Bodie will be at Dogfest on Sunday 21st September as part of the rescue parade and his rescue Woodside, will be on hand to provide more information about him and the other dogs in their care.
