Newquay Beer Festival Newquay Beer Festival 2026 takes place on Fri 18 to Sun 20 September, and is a Lions charity event.

Newquay Towan Blystra Lions welcome you to the Newquay Beer Festival, an charity event where you can enjoy sampling a wide variety of different beers and ciders from across Cornwall and further afield - all whilst raising money for great local causes. It’s a must for beer and cider fans from near and far and, as a real bonus for those who love to soak up all the atmosphere and not worry about having to find their way home, there is onside camping and motorhome pitches at great prices. There’s great live music throughout the event plus Chrissie’s Sunshine Bar serving a variety of gins, fizz and other popular drinks, including zero % alcohol and soft drinks. There’s plenty of food options available with our festival site plus Hendra Holiday Park outlets providing some good variety. Held at Hendra Holiday Park, there’s the option to stay over so, if you fancy this too, give Hendra a ring on 01637 875778 and quote BF26 to get the best deals available. You can sign up for updates through our page so you will be in the know right up to the start of the event. Families are welcome but parts of the site will only be open to over 18s. However, because the festival is based at one of Cornwall’s top holiday parks there are loads of other attractions which younger people will be interested in as well as a wide range of eating options both on and off the festival site itself. Raymond Campbell has been great regular supporter to our festival 🤗 and we're lucky he's doing it again, this Friday (Main Stage 4pm),
He's been in bands a long time so I asked him what's latest with him......

"This year I am teaming up with Rachel (rockin Rachael), who has toured performing as Cher tribute and also Tina Turner tribute in Spain mostly.
Rachel was raised in Port Isaac and we recently played in the village hall for all her school mates and friends, so a bit of a different set for me this year, some pop, country and rock"

Thank you Raymond and Rachael, who like all performing, play for free to help us Lions raise money for local causes 👏.

FOOD at NBF2026 is of course, very important. After all we need something to sustain us through the agony of enjoying a HUGE selection of B**rs and Ciders 🤣🤣.

Katie’s Cornish hotpots on site does curries -
(including very popular Goat/ Thai flavours), plus burgers.

Within a short walk of a couple of minutes are also the Hendra Holiday Park RESTAURANT with a wide range of delicious meals, plus fish and chips and pizza takeaways.

Saturday Main Stage (19th Sept), we have true stars of Cornish culture, OLL AN GWELLA, ( "all the best"), giving the crowd a great opportunity to join in the fun !

They been wowing audiences with fabulous Cornish, folk, seasonal and shanty songs for years and like all the groups heard at NBF2026, have given their time, for free, to help us Lions raise money for local causes.

Notably, they have been selected to represent Cornwall live on national ITV programmes; from the deck of the Cutty Sark in Greenwich; from the stages at the prestigious Festival Interceltique in Lorient Brittany; on board SAGA cruise ships; and from the Boardmaster’s stage in Newquay. A passion for Cornish culture & heritage resonates through their performances, featuring elements of Kernewek, at home and abroad including annual appearances at a number of Music Festivals.
Performance fees, donations and album sales have raised more than £80,000 for their adopted charities - currently Cornwall Blood Bikes and Penhaligon’s Friends (a Cornish Childrens bereavement charity).
And their 5th album 'Proud to be Cornish' was released on 12th September 2025!

We can't wait to hear the band SWITZERLAND on Main Stage Saturday.

Front man Will says.....,
" We're a 3 piece rock band based in north Cornwall with decades of live performing experience between us. We've played together for a long time and write a lot of original music.
Our influences include Nirvana, Radiohead, Pixies, Beck, The White Stripes etc.
Lots of energy and great fun".......

And that's the sort of combo we love too !

5-piece band One For The Road have been an amazing supporter of our festival and once again are Main Stage SATURDAY.

Asking Drummer Lewis Foyle what's been happening since we last heard them in 2025, he said......

"Rob our lead singer has now retired. Lewis the drummer ( me ) got married in June this year. Talan our lead guitarist has become an uncle for the first time. Gordon our bass player is still cancer free and Lenny our rhythm guitarist still doesn’t own a wallet 🤣"

"And that every gig we do we still hold our dearest friend Paul Grimmet the founding member of the band".
