Update: Event postponed due to circumstances outside of our control. Apologies and we wish you a great nettle season.
Save the date! NettleFest Cymru will take place in May, weekend of 11th and 12th here at Bryncoed, and we are inviting contributors. So far we have Patch of the Planet, a local ecologist, a local herbalist, and a local storyteller lined up 💚 Looking for bushcraft people, food uses and kid-friendly activities, as well anything else you’d like to offer 🌿🌱🍃
It could be a workshop or talk, or a sharing about anything directly or tangentially connected - foraging, food, cordage, textiles, dyes, stories, music etc. 🌿 Send me a message if you have an idea you'd like to discuss. The main day will be Saturday 11th May, with potential spill over into Sunday, depending on how many contributors come forward. Feedback from last time included more time to mingle/chat/network, more kids activities and more hands-on workshops.
Like last time in 2022, it will be a free peer-to-peer event, so no money involved. Have a look at the posts on this page to see what went on.
Tickets will be bookable soon. It is free, but limited numbers due to limited space and parking.
If you are coming from afar and would like to stay overnight, then contact me direct at [email protected] to book (not free) as I have blocked out that weekend on the website, but you can check prices there:
