NettleFest Cymru is an event celebrating the wonderful plant, the nettle (Urtica Dioica), and sharing what we know about how it benefits us and the wildlife it supports. This is a peer-to-peer, bring-what-you-want-to-see event. We do not have any funding for this first event, and costs for any materia
ls will be borne by each contributor, so think carefully about cost when planning your activity. If numbers of attendees are significant, we may ask for a small donation to cover toilet paper, tea and coffee. Nettle-related contributions could be:

Please send us a few lines about what you would like to share in terms of talk, performance, workshop, demonstration etc. and the length of time your contribution will take. If we get 5 people wanting to demonstrate nettle crisps we may have to get selective. Parking is limited and so is the capacity of the venue, so please contact us in advance, DON’T just turn up �
Think through what resources you will need eg electricity, water, a table, chair etc and list them. We may have what you need but we may not, and this will need to be arranged in advance. On site we have toilets, drinking water, electricity, limited parking, and some nettles (if you need vast amounts of nettles for your activity, please source elsewhere, or our butterflies will not be happy). The site has a small campsite if you want to stay overnight. When:
