Really sorry I have been quiet social media front and email front but here is much needed information. Over the weekend, the full documentation will go out.

- Ramp width: 56 inches
- Number of carts: 2
- Clearances: 3 inches between carts; 1 inch margins on each side
- Total clearance: 5 inches
- Space per cart: (56 − 5) / 2 = 25.5 inches
- Cart width: 25.5 inches

We are currently resolving several issues affecting the website, email systems, cart sizing guidance, ramp width requirements for the start ramp, and team event documentation. All of these are being prioritised, and we expect to have everything rectified within the week.

The momentum is building for the Smith Aggregates Newport Pagnell Soapbox Derby and this weekend we’ve been out securing even more fantastic local support!

We’re thrilled to confirm that The Rose & Crown and Farthing Brothers Coffee House will be joining us on the day — keeping spectators, teams and volunteers well fuelled throughout the action! ☕🍔

And of course… it wouldn’t be a proper community event without Scott’s Ice Cream 🍦 bringing the sweet treats!

To show we’re serious about this year’s event, we’ve had 1,000 leaflets printed.

With half-term week coming up, we can get them out around the High Street and other busy areas, but we need a bit of help to offload them.

👉 Can you take some leaflets into your place of work?
👉 Would your workplace consider entering a team, sponsoring the event, or even doing both?

This page was first set up back in 2010, and that year the event was huge — so come on, let’s work together and make this year’s Soapbox Derby as big as it was in 2010 (or bigger!).
