Still not over these flowers… 🌸✨

This wedding at Vallum Weddings in Northumberland was filled with some of the most incredible floral displays I’ve ever seen, from the huge statement arrangements to the beautiful details tucked into every corner of the venue. It honestly felt like stepping into a dream.

What makes it even more special is knowing how much love and hard work went into creating it all. The groom’s mum, alongside an amazing team, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this vision to life, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking 🤍

The atmosphere, the colours, the scale of it all… absolutely unforgettable. A true reminder of how much magic flowers can bring to a wedding day ✨

Our rhubarb posset is a true celebration of spring — available for a short time only, while rhubarb is at its vibrant, tangy best.

Fun fact: a traditional posset dates back centuries and was originally a warm drink made with milk and wine or ale (we promise ours is far more delicious 😉). Today, it’s transformed into the silky, creamy dessert you see here — perfectly balanced with the sharpness of seasonal rhubarb.

Official title: Head of Guest Relations (and Chief Treat Inspector) at Vallum Weddings.

Sky is part of the Vallum family and can often be found around the barn… just not on wedding days — those are strictly her days off.

When she is on duty, her responsibilities include supervising the grounds, greeting visitors, and carrying out very important quality checks on the countryside walks. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.

If you visit Vallum during the week, you might spot her pottering around the barn or enjoying a well-earned rest in the sunshine.
