What a great night we had on Saturday at the Bone Cancer Research Trust Masquerade Ball! 🪩

Team TenforTen were out in force and it was lovely to celebrate our successes and dance the night away with the bone cancer community. An incredible £130,000 was raised on the night, which will go towards funding vital research, awareness, support and information.

Every year, the ball leads me to reflect and this year, I came away thinking about what an epic start for Team TenforTen it has been. We are fast approaching the £20,000 mark in our first 8 months! 🎉

The Team TenforTen special fund is dedicated to funding the work of BCRT’s support service, who do an incredible job of supporting bone cancer patients and their families. We believe that having support before, during and after bone cancer diagnosis is essential in helping aid recovery.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Debbie and the Clear Quality gang, who very generously sponsored the ball this year. I hope you had a great time!

All that’s left to say is, watch out for more exciting TenforTen activity happening in the new year! If you are interested in joining the team, to help us raise money that will directly support bone cancer patients and their families, please do get in touch. We’d love for you to join us! 🧡

These TenforTen legends did an incredible job yesterday as they took on and conquered the Great North Run 2023. 💪🏼 Each and every one of you should be super proud of your achievements! 🥇

Last but not least… Introducing our final TenforTen member, who completes our team for the Great North Run 2023.

After completing the race last year, Andy Whittaker is back and is on a mission to better his (already impressive) time. What he is trying to achieve is seriously quick!

Introducing our first new Team TenforTen member 🥁… Alex James!

Alex will be representing Team TenforTen in September, taking on the Great North Run 🏃🏻‍♂️. Preparation is going well for Alex, with him completing the Lindley 10K a few weeks ago (on a scorcher of a day) in an impressive 50 minutes and 42 seconds 🔥.

Wishing you all the best with the training and I hope that the left over energy gels from the marathon will see you through!

After my London Marathon challenge finished, I was determined to keep the TenforTen legacy alive and build upon its initial success. Since then I’ve been working with Bone Cancer Research Trust and, today, I’m excited and proud to share my Team TenforTen Special Fund with you all!

Team TenforTen is made up of family, friends and people impacted by bone cancer. We are a team of committed individuals who want to raise the awareness of primary bone cancer and raise vital funds to support patients and their families. We will do this by organising exciting events and maybe even completing some more crazy challenges!

We believe, and know first hand, that having support before, during and after bone cancer diagnosis is essential for recovery. This is why all money raised through this special fund will go towards the incredible work BCRT’s support service does.
